Is there anything new and different at the 2023 Motorhome and Caravan Show?

Apart from the four main UK caravan manufacturers, Coachman, Bailey, Swift and Erwin Hymer UK, there are a number of new caravans that are different to the usual caravans on offer.

Here are some of the caravans that are imported and launched since the last show.

Eriba – Stand 20-35

Let Eriba, part of the Erwin Hymer Group, bring some colour to your pitch with the Touring available in Horizon Blue, Tango Red and Nugget Gold.

Also new are the larger Touring 630 and 642 offering more space.

Knaus – Stand 17-32

Making it’s UK debut is the all electric Knaus Yeseo, designed to be towed behind electric vehicles with a lower weight and a smaller frontal area.

The Yeseo has recently been awarded the ANWB Caravan van het Jaar 2024 (Caravan of the year 2024) in The Netherlands.

La Mancelle – Stand 8-25

Made in France and sold my Marquis Leisure in the UK, both companies are part of the vast Trigano Group which also includes Auto Trail, Auto-Sleeper and Adria.

Two models, one from each of the Fantaisy and Liberty ranges were on display at last year’s show, however this year La Mancelle models have been approved by the National Caravan Council and come with NCC accreditation.

Freedom – Stand 12-6

The Freedom Wayfarer N and NTL have the familiar look of the moulded fibre glass Freedom models that have been made for years. The Wayfarer models construction is different using bonded panels, giving a more conventional feel, however still looking like a Freedom. The larger Wayfarer XL does feature a new body design.

Camperlands – Stand 12-35

If you are looking form something smaller the Campmaster Duo could be for you. With a max weight of 750kg and an overall length of just over 4.6 meters the Duo is compact. The fixed double bed comes with a movable backrest to allow for seating. Available in Duo and Duo GLX specifications, all come with an Isabella Shade canopy as standard.

The show runs from Tuesday 17th to Sunday 22 October 2023 at the NEC in Birmingham. Tickets are limited and once again there are no “on the door sales'”. Tickets are discounted tickets available until 11.59pm on 16/10/23. Parking is included in the ticket price.
